“Mission – Averie” is an exciting new Action/Romance shot on 35mm film in Los Angeles. The independently produced film will premiere as a 34-minute short in the Summer 2026. Written and directed by Maxwell Moore, the project combines vintage visual style with a modern, high-stakes narrative. The film is produced by Magic Pictures USA (a subsidiary of Magic Media USA LLC) and will be distributed in the US by Cyclone Pictures.
The logline:
After receiving high tech bionic arms from the CIA after a near-death car accident, a young woman is recruited to become their Elite assassin. But everything changes when she feels love for the first time. Will she be able to take down the father of her new love interest?

While at dinner at a local restaurant in the middle of the Mojave desert, Milo is motivating Averie to be herself to be who she wants to be.
